What is the Maximum Size for a Product Image?

Product images must be at least 500 x 500 pixels, and under 2mb

This allows you to have your images load quickly, and you have multiple images displayed at one time. The maximum file size for an image is 2mb.  Minimum image dimensions is 500 x 500.
